The Mission

of Transformed By Mercy, LLC, is ministry to Catholics and Christians who wish to know the Savior Jesus Christ, be ignited by the Holy Spirit, and under the mighty hand of the Father. TBM awakens and facilitates inner growth at the intersection of wholeness and holiness through sound accompaniment and formation. The dream is fulfilled as gradual transformation leads to an ever deepening relationship with Divine Mercy that overflows to others.

Rachel Gehring

was certified in spiritual direction at The Cenacle of Our Lady of Divine Providence School of Spirituality in 2013. She obtained: an AA in Theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville in 1997, a BA in Theological Studies from St. Joseph’s College of Maine in 2016 (with a thesis on directing the nineteenth annotation), and a MA in Pastoral Studies (with a pastoral counseling concentration) at Holy Apostles College and Seminary in 2020.

Rachel is married to Mark, and, together, they have four children. Rachel rejoices in the richness of Catholic tradition and the Spirit’s movement today. She ministers with pastoral orthodoxy
oriented to the heart of the Father, along the way of the Son, in the power of the Holy Spirit, under Mary's mantle, in-step with the Church, and for the glory of the LORD.

Human vulnerability is the unifying thread that passes through all of our prayer. It is the meeting point of God and man (Fathers Acklin & Hicks).

  The Logo

of Transformed By Mercy includes:
  1. a triqueta, symbolizing the Most Holy Trinity, that is, three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, in one God; the Most Holy Trinity is a fundamental truth and essential relationship (CCC, 234).
  2. a cross, symbolizing the love, wisdom, and power of the Father, who brought salvation through the pascal mystery of Jesus Christ, who poured out His Spirit; God is transcendent and immanent;
  3. a plant, which is integrated into the triqueta and cross, symbolizes life and the great potential of each soul; a plant indicates the need for proper care to grow towards the Son;
  4. the colors, of green (symbolizing health, balance, and growth) and brown (symbolizing safety, connection, and simplicity).

Even in its outward form the Cross is all-inclusive. But its interior inclusiveness is shown by the opened Heart (Baltazar).

The Conviction

of Transformed By Mercy is:
  1. "The desire for God is written in the human heart, because man is created by God and for God, and God never ceases to draw man to himself. Only in God will he find the truth and happiness that he never stops searching for" (CCC, 27).
  2. "Whenever a person turns to the Lord the veil is removed. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. All of us, gazing with unveiled face on the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, as from the Lord who is the Spirit" (2 Cor. 3: 16-18).

Lord, renew your wonders in our time, as though for a new Pentecost (Pope St. John XXIII).
