19th Annotation Training - For Spiritual Directors
Who:
Practicing spiritual directors who have completed a 2 year certification program, completed the 19th annotation with a director, discerned/are discerning the call to lead others in the 19th. Cast Into The Deep is a response to need, and not accredited, exhaustive, or tax-deductible.
What:
Curriculum. Online lessons can be completed in 2 - 6 months, started anytime, and are self paced. 8 modules include simple videos, reading, and reflections arranged progressively around the Spiritual Exercises and directing the 19th. $200 deposit includes materials (minus 2 books) and reflection feedback. Practicum. Required: take 1 person through the 19th using The Ignatian Adventure with simple log, under regular supervision, and with a final reflection. Roughly 8-12 months. Optional but highly suggested: take a 2nd person simultaneously or sequentially through the 19th with approved resource of choice with a log, under regular supervision, and with a final reflection. Supervision monthly (or by agreement) via zoom with sliding scale of 40-80$ per supervision. Directors find retreatants. Timeframe. Total completion time frame roughly 1-3 years. Curriculum opens October 11, 2023.

The Holy Spirit is moving hearts toward the 19th annotation because it is a school of prayer, healing, discernment, renewal, growth, and accompaniment. Here, souls come under the Lordship of Jesus and discover a Loving Father. This spiritual immersion forges union and leads to mission for an apostolic age. Cast into the Deep is consecrated to Mother Mary and under the patronage of St. John of Avila, most recent doctor of the Church known for his spiritual direction, profound preaching, and love for the Jesuits.
